Dr Alexandru David is a board-certified physician in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. He joined Rocky Mountain Infectious Diseases in 2013. Dr David’s medical interests include Infection Control and Prevention, and Antimicrobial Stewardship. He is a member of several committees at WMC Banner, including the Medical Executive Committee, Infection Control, the Peer Review Committee, and he is the acting Chair of the Internal Medicine Department.

After graduating from University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Romania, Dr David Completed his Internal Medicine residency at Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences in Elizabeth NJ. He then completed his Infectious Diseases Fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan. He is fluent in several languages including English, Romanian, Italian and French.

Dr David enjoys spending his free time with his wife and son; playing tennis, cycling, collecting coins, and is a car enthusiast.
